Know Their Apps is a trade name of Capture AI Ventures LLC ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information we collect through KnowTheirApps.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
The short version. We collect your name and email so we can send you the guides you asked for. If you take our Family Safety Assessment, we collect the answers you give about your household so we can show you a personalized result. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Information you give us directly. When you download a free guide, buy a product, or contact us, we collect your first name and email address. If you buy a product, our payment processor also collects your billing details.
Family Safety Assessment answers. Our Family Safety Assessment is an optional quiz hosted on ScoreApp. If you choose to take it, you may provide information about your household, including:
We use these answers for one purpose: to generate your personalized risk score and recommend the guide most relevant to your situation. We do not ask for your child's name, photograph, school, or any information that would identify them, and you should not provide any. The assessment is completed by you, the parent, and is about your household as a whole.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical information such as browser type, device type, and pages visited. We use the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising. You can control this through your browser settings and your ad preferences on the platforms you use.
Our products are sold to and intended for parents and guardians. Our website and assessment are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email ryan@knowtheirapps.com and we will delete it.
We do not collect, see, or store your credit card number, expiration date, or security code. All payments are processed by Stripe, which handles your card details directly under its own privacy policy and security standards. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with your name, email, and the product purchased.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need in order to run the business:
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so.
When you download a free guide or buy a product, you will receive email from us. Every email includes an unsubscribe link and our physical mailing address. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we will stop sending marketing email immediately. We will still send transactional email relating to a purchase you have made, such as your download link or a receipt.
We keep your email address and purchase history for as long as you remain on our list or as long as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes. Assessment answers are retained while your record is active. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
You can ask us to show you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email ryan@knowtheirapps.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email to our subscribers.
